Section 1 of 5
The Idea
e.g. Mobile dog grooming service
What is it? Who is it for? What problem does it solve? Write like you're explaining it to someone at a dinner party — not a pitch meeting.
Section 2 of 5
The Market
Not "everyone" or "small businesses." Name the actual person. Their job, situation, frustration.
Have you found competitors? Seen people complaining about this problem online? Talked to anyone who said they'd pay? If the answer is "I just know," say that — honesty helps the report.
Assume someone already does. Search until you find them. If you genuinely can't find competition, that is itself a data point worth naming.
Section 3 of 5
The Money
Be specific. "Subscription" is not specific. "$49/month per user, billed annually" is specific. If you don't know yet, say what you're considering.
Your best current thinking. Ranges are fine.
Materials, time, tools, platforms, labor — whatever goes into one unit of delivery.
Order of magnitude is fine.
Section 4 of 5
The Founder
Experience, skills, relationships, domain knowledge. Not enthusiasm — that's assumed. What do you bring that someone starting from zero wouldn't have?
Research, conversations, prototypes, domain purchases, anything. If the answer is "nothing yet," say so.
Section 5 of 5
The Concerns
The thing you hope the report doesn't surface. Say it anyway — it helps the analysis.
Healthcare, finance, food, alcohol, children, professional services — anything that might require permits, licenses, or special handling.
A gut check? A specific section you're unsure about? Confirmation before you spend money? Say it — the report will address it directly.

Required fields: idea description, target customer, revenue model. Everything else strengthens the report.
